Darbeler, müdaheleler, politik ve kültürel işgaller ‘sorgulanamaz’ iktidarlarlarını ezicilikleri, şiddetleri ve yarattıkları acılar ve galibiyetleri ne düzeyde olursa olsun, tam da toplum ve mağluplar nezdinde meşru, haklı, kaçınılmaz ve yahut hegomonik kabul edildikleri anda tesis ederler. Erkin sahipleri mevcut durumlarını sürdürmenin yolunun onu elde ettikleri hâl ve yöntemde ısrar ve bu ‘olağanüstü’ hâli sürdürmekten geçtiğini bildiklerinden bu, ‘farklı’ bağlam ve tecessümlerle durmaksızın devam eden bir saldırı sürecidir.
Bu saldırıya karşı verilecek yanıtların içinde dilimizde, sesimizde, müziğimizde direnmek bir kültürün, içinden başka başka muhalif kültürleri doğurarak yaşaması anlamında elzemdir. Unutmayıp inanmak ve bulanmayıp bilenmek düsturuyla Bandista evi var olduğunu bizzat kendi mevcudiyetinin mümkünlüğüyle bildiği muhalefet mukavemet âlemini paşaların başucunda De Te Fabula Narratur’un kaldığı yerden bizim hikâyelerimizi anlatmaya davet ediyor. Zira bir fısıltıdan bile korkuyorlar… gürültü ne çok şeyi değiştirir… kafaya kafaya zound zystem!
Coup d’états, interventions, and political and cultural occupations, regardless of the level of their victory, their oppressiveness, violence, and the pain that they induced, establish their ‘unquestionable’ power at that moment when they are considered legitimate, just, inevitable or hegemonic in the eyes of the defeated and the society. This is a incessant process of attack that works through different contexts and reflections, since the possessors of power know that the way of stabilizing their existing condition is to insist on the state and methods by which they have acquired that power and to maintain this ‘exceptional’ state.
It is crucial to resist this attack with our answers, through our language, voice, and music for a culture to sustain itself and give birth to various dissident cultures from within itself. By the motto of not forgetting but believing and not watering down but sharpening, Bandista keeps telling our stories, on the bedside of the pashas, from the world of dissent and resistance that Bandista knows exists through the manifest possibility of its own existence, from where De Te Fabula Narratur left off. For they are afraid of even a whisper… noise makes such a difference… zound zystem to the head!
